Landscape

A new theme for me.  This one was inspired by a trip to Monument Valley.  I wanted to envision it as it was, once upon a time, with water instead of sand.
Of note: This painting was colored entirely from natural earth pigments (mixed with modeling paste, transparent medium or glue), and texturized with modeling paste, sand, and uh, cat litter.  It was just the right texture for fallen boulders.
